This past weekend was Odyssey weekend, and our team took 3rd place in the Mental Health track at MIT Hacking Medicine. I’m genuinely thrilled.
Honestly, the fun of a hackathon like this is that you have to turn an idea built on a real health problem into something tangible within a tight window. You have to understand the problem fast, plan sharply, and ship something that shows results in just a few days. It forces you to focus only on what truly matters.
For me, mental health is a problem that feels close to home and deeply important. Getting to combine both a health perspective and a technology perspective to tackle it made me feel like I’m on the right path.
Placing 3rd is a nice bonus, but what I really walked away with was the practice of thinking and building quickly under pressure — and the proof that mixing domain expertise with modern tools can create something meaningful in just a handful of days.
MIT Hacking Medicine
