The Problem
Veterinary clinics in developing markets pay expensive monthly fees for proprietary practice management software that is often poorly localized, lacks customization, and locks clinics into vendor ecosystems.
The Solution
Building OpenVetOS, an open-source veterinary practice management system with patient records, appointment scheduling, billing, inventory management, and reporting. Designed for self-hosting with Docker, using Django for the backend and React for the frontend. Micro-MVP approach with incremental feature releases.
