วันหยุดของข้าาาา เลยถือโอกาสขึ้น project ใหม่แปปนึงครับ คราวนี้เป็นแอปแผนที่รวมร้านเด็ดของนครพนม เมืองบ้านเกิดของผมเอง
ไอเดียมันเรียบง่ายมากครับ คือเวลาเราอยู่ในเมือง เราอยากรู้แค่ว่า “ตอนนี้มีอะไรเปิดอยู่ใกล้ๆ บ้าง แล้วน่าไปไหม” แอปก็เลยโชว์ร้านใกล้ตัวเป็นการ์ดสั้นๆ บอกสถานะว่าเปิดอยู่ไหม ระยะทางห่างกี่กิโล แล้วก็อัปเดตล่าสุดเมื่อไหร่ มีตั้งแต่ร้านอาหารเวียดนามเจ้าดังของเมือง คาเฟ่ริมน้ำที่วิวดีๆ ไปจนถึงถนนคนเดินที่คนทั้งเมืองไปกันช่วงสุดสัปดาห์
เอาจริงๆ ผมชอบทำของแบบนี้ครับ ของที่ scope เล็กๆ จบในวันเดียว แต่แก้ปัญหาจริงของคนในพื้นที่ได้ พวกแอปรีวิวใหญ่ๆ มักจะไม่ค่อยมีข้อมูลของเมืองรองแบบนครพนม ข้อมูลร้านในเมืองแบบนี้คนในพื้นที่รู้ดีที่สุด การทำไกด์เล็กๆ ที่เน้นร้านใกล้ตัวและข้อมูลสดๆ เลยตอบโจทย์กว่าเยอะ
วันหยุดแบบนี้แหละครับที่ผมชอบที่สุด ได้ลองของใหม่ ได้ทำของที่อยากให้เมืองบ้านเกิดมีจริงๆ
It’s my day off, so I spun up a new little project: a map app of the best local spots in Nakhon Phanom, my hometown.
The idea is dead simple. When you’re in town, all you really want to know is “what’s open near me right now, and is it worth going?” So the app shows nearby places as short cards — whether it’s open, how many kilometers away, and when it was last updated. Everything from the town’s famous Vietnamese restaurant, to a riverside café with a great view, to the walking street the whole town heads to on weekend nights.
Honestly, I love building things like this — small in scope, finished in a day, but solving a real problem for people on the ground. The big review apps rarely have good data for a second-tier city like Nakhon Phanom. Locals know the spots best, so a small guide focused on nearby places with fresh, live info fits far better.
This is exactly the kind of day off I like most: trying something new and building the thing I always wished my hometown had.
