I’m mingrath — a licensed veterinarian (Chulalongkorn DVM, then MSc with First-Class Honors) who spent 8+ years in small-animal neurosurgery and orthopedics: epilepsy, spinal injuries, EEG and neuroimaging, with a peer-reviewed paper along the way. Then I taught myself to code and never looked back.
Today I’m an AI engineer intern at AXONS (CP Group) and completed Super AI Engineer Season 6, Level 2 (AIAT). Day to day I build open-source AI tools in Python and TypeScript — RAG, agents, computer vision — working across whatever LLM fits the problem, and lately I’m all-in on running models locally. The thread pulling hardest at me is computational neuroscience — where brains and models meet.
This blog is my running notebook: the models I’m hopping between, the local setups and agents I’m wiring up, the neuroscience I’m chewing on, and the occasional milestone. The throughline is simple: I want the work to matter — to leave a real, lasting dent in the world as my legacy.
