เอาจริงๆ สิ่งที่ผมชอบที่สุดของการทำงานสาย dev ตอนนี้คือ มันไม่ต้องผูกกับเครื่องใดเครื่องหนึ่งอีกแล้วครับ ท่าที่ผมใช้อยู่คือ Termius + tmux + WezTerm แล้วก็พบว่ามันทำงานได้ทุกที่ ผ่านทุกเครื่องจริงๆ
หัวใจมันอยู่ที่ tmux ครับ คือ session งานของเรามันรันค้างอยู่ที่ server ตลอด ไม่ว่าจะปิดจอ ปิดเครื่อง หรือเน็ตหลุด งานก็ยังอยู่ตรงนั้น พอกลับมาก็ attach เข้าไปต่อได้เลย เหมือนไม่เคยลุกไปไหน
ส่วน Termius คือตัวที่ทำให้มือถือกลายเป็น terminal ได้ เวลาอยู่ข้างนอกแล้วอยากเช็คงาน หรือสั่งอะไรนิดหน่อย ก็หยิบมือถือขึ้นมา ssh เข้าไปต่อ session เดิมได้เลย ส่วน WezTerm คือตัวหลักตอนนั่งโต๊ะ จอใหญ่ พิมพ์สบาย
พอรวมสามตัวนี้เข้าด้วยกัน มันเลยกลายเป็นว่างานของเราไม่ได้อยู่ที่ “เครื่อง” แต่อยู่ที่ “session” ที่ตามตัวเราไปได้ทุกที่ครับ เครื่องไหนก็ต่อเข้าไปทำงานเดิมได้ เปลี่ยนอุปกรณ์โดยไม่ต้องเริ่มใหม่ ลื่นไหลดีมาก
Honestly, the thing I love most about dev work right now is that it no longer has to be tied to one machine. My current setup is Termius + tmux + WezTerm, and I’ve found it really does let me work from anywhere, on any device.
The heart of it is tmux. Your work session keeps running on the server the whole time — close the screen, shut the laptop, drop your connection, and the work is still sitting right there. When you come back you just attach again and pick up where you left off, like you never stepped away.
Termius is what turns my phone into a terminal. When I’m out and want to check on something, or fire off a quick command, I grab my phone, ssh in, and reconnect to the same session. WezTerm is the main driver when I’m at my desk — big screen, comfortable to type on.
Put the three together and your work stops living on a “machine” and starts living in a “session” that follows you around. Any device can hop into the same work, switch hardware without starting over. It feels really smooth.
