ผมเพิ่งลงเรียนคอร์ส feline behavior medicine ของ RVC ครับ
หลายคนที่ตามผมช่วงหลังอาจจะคุ้นกับผมในมุมของคนที่อยู่กับ AI และการเขียนโค้ดเป็นหลัก แต่จริงๆ แล้วพื้นฐานของผมคือสัตวแพทย์ และความสนใจตรงนั้นมันก็ไม่เคยหายไปไหน การได้กลับมาเรียนเรื่องพฤติกรรมแมวอย่างจริงจังเลยเป็นอะไรที่ผมตั้งตารอมาก
เอาจริงๆ เรื่องพฤติกรรมเป็นหนึ่งในส่วนที่ลึกและท้าทายที่สุดของงานสัตวแพทย์ เพราะสัตว์มันบอกเราตรงๆ ไม่ได้ เราต้องอ่านจาก signal เล็กๆ น้อยๆ แล้วเชื่อมโยงกับบริบทรอบตัวมัน มันต้องอาศัยทั้งความรู้และการสังเกตที่ละเอียดมาก
ส่วนตัวผมเชื่อเรื่องการเรียนรู้ข้ามสายครับ ยิ่งเรามี domain expertise ที่ลึกในด้านใดด้านหนึ่ง เวลาเอามาผสมกับเครื่องมือหรือศาสตร์อื่น มันยิ่งต่อยอดได้ไกล การกลับมาเติมความรู้ด้านสัตวแพทย์เลยไม่ใช่การถอยหลัง แต่เป็นการลงทุนกับรากฐานของตัวเองให้แน่นขึ้น
I just enrolled in a feline behavior medicine course from the RVC.
A lot of people who’ve followed me recently probably know me mainly through AI and coding. But my foundation is veterinary medicine, and that interest has never really gone anywhere. So getting to seriously study cat behavior again is something I’ve been really looking forward to.
Honestly, behavior is one of the deepest and most challenging parts of veterinary work, because animals can’t tell us directly what’s wrong. We have to read small signals and connect them to the context around them — it takes both knowledge and very careful observation.
Personally, I’m a big believer in cross-disciplinary learning. The deeper your domain expertise in one area, the further you can take it when you combine it with other tools or fields. So coming back to top up my veterinary knowledge isn’t a step backward — it’s an investment in making my own foundation stronger.
